Houston and Austin took first and second place respectively in the top markets to watch for commercial real estate investments in 2015, according to PricewaterhouseCooper’s annual report, Emerging Trends in Real Estate. Investors are looking at alternative markets from the normal core. Houston ranked at the top of both investment and development expectations. Along with the thriving energy industry, terms of livability, employment opportunities and recreational and cultural amenities are cited as major factors that are drawing real estate investors.
