A big reason for our successful performances is due to our diversified asset base. Our properties consist of different land uses (single family, commercial, multifamily, industrial, etc.) and are spread across the major markets of Texas. These major cities are made up of diverse and booming industries, which lead to further opportunities when exiting. Rockspring continues to look for the best opportunities beyond direct land investments, seeking motivated sellers. In addition, we’ll continue to monitor for bridge loan investments such as the Texas Medical Center mortgage payoff that produced a 200 percent return in March 2012 (see link below).
