Rockspring Capital is a second generation, privately owned real estate investment firm based in Houston, Texas. We have more than $260 million in assets under our management and have offered eight funds since 2003.
Our predecessor company, The McAlister Company, was formed in 1973 with exclusive focus on investments in undeveloped land parcels. Since then, our investment philosophy has broadened to include more mature"in-fill" sites as the illiquidity in the market is providing a generational opportunity for well-prepared buyers. Since 2003, when the company moved to a fund structure, Rockspring has provided wider diversification through product mix, investment size and geographic location.
Today, with our investor base including unique investors ranging from high net worth individuals to large institutions, we focus our investment activities on opportunities in the “Texas Triangle,” the region that includes the robust real estate markets of Houston, San Antonio, Austin and Dallas/Fort Worth, and more than 90% of the state’s population.
Our real estate arm, comprised of in-house acquisition and sales teams, assists with strategic market research, deal sourcing, due diligence, closings, value-add asset management and property disposition.
